Mission Statement:

Provide residents of western Manitoba with an effective & coordinated response to severe incidents of hoarding or domestic squalor.

Meeting Times:

1.  In-Person:  annually; at the call of the chair.  
2.  Teleconference:  upon activation of 'Response Coordination' mechanism, as incidents arise.

The WestMan Inter-Agency Hoarding Coalition (WIHC) is comprised of a variety of governmental and community-based agencies that:

• Provide collaborative leadership, assessment and coordination of interventions to prevent, prepare, respond and recover from incidents of severe hoarding and/or domestic squalor
• Organize and provide public education about hoarding, service agency information dissemination, training and familial support.
